Twin Blasts: Kaduna Lifts 24 Hour Curfew


The Kaduna State Government has lifted the 24 hours curfew imposed in Kaduna metropolis following the twin bomb blasts that killed 39 persons on Wednesday.


The state Commissioner for Information, Ben Bako, announced this while briefing newsmen after an emergency State Executive Council meeting held in Kaduna.

Bako said that 39 persons lost their lives in the two separate attacks at Alkali road and Kawo, while 37 persons were currently receiving treatment at the 44 Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna.

Gov. Mukhtar Yero visited the scene of the explosions as well as the victims at the hospital and Gen. Muhammad Buhari to commiserate with them over attacks.
