Isaac Vigil was reportedly handcuffed and searched three times by police in Denver, Colo., but managed to fire at the cops with a gun hidden in his butt cheeks.

According to court papers, Vigil told police officers five or six times, “I’m going to kill you” while en route to a police station on May 14 (video below).

CBS Denver reports that Vigil was arrested for allegedly “getting high” in a car outside a local McDonald’s.

Vigil was reportedly wanted on a felony warrant for failure to appear in court for another case in which he’s charged with two counts of felony menacing with a weapon and one count of illegal weapon possession by a convicted felon.

While Vigil was being transported to a police station he allegedly told the cops that he’d been smoking meth for three days.

When the officers and Vigil arrived at Denver Police District 4, Vigil refused to get out of the police cruiser and said, “Man! You’re gonna hear a pop! You’re gonna hear pop!”

With hands cuffed, Vigil allegedly fired a silver gun from behind his back twice, but then it jammed, reports TheDenverChannel.com.

In response, a police officer returned fire and shot Vigil in the stomach.

Vigil is now charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, and possession of a defaced firearm.

Police also reportedly found that Vigil had hidden baggies of meth in his rectum.

Vigil’s bail was set at $100,000.
